Elder Tony W. McDaniel

Elder Tony McDaniel is an innovative leader, thought-provoker, and public speaker. He is committed to vulnerable populations and impoverished communities. His service to society is a seamless merging of the “theological why” with “a practical how.” His life is a constant leap of faith across pulpits, platforms, and pavement as he endeavors to transform present-day realities into tomorrow’s opportunities.

He was born in Petersburg, Virginia and primarily reared by his mother, Mary Jane McDaniel, in Petersburg, Virginia. Upon graduating high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy. His ten-year military career included over-seas service tours of Rota, Span, Souda Bay Greece, Thailand, Guam, Singapore and state-side tours in California, Texas and Virginia. After transitioning from the military, Elder McDaniel earned his certification through the International Facility Management Association (IFMA).

He continued his academic endeavors by earning certification with the Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA). He is a Senior Service Desk Associate with Allianz Technology in Richmond, Virginia where he supports and maintains in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all hardware and equipment while ensuring optimal workstation performance. In October 2002, Elder and Mrs. Pamela McDaniel became charter members of Higher Learning Ministries; where he serves as Assistant Pastor. He is a licensed Elder with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc, and has served in pastoral ministry for over 20 years. When Elder McDaniel is not in his regular role at Higher Learning Ministries, he can be found traveling throughout the United States as a minister of the Gospel and public speaker to churches, and community organizations. He provides professional services of consultation and implementation strategy for church and community projects. He has shared the platform with premier preachers, world-renowned educators, distinguished speakers, and political representatives.

He is happily married to his lovely wife of twenty two years, the former Pamela R. Ross. They have one daughter, India McDaniel and together they share life, ministry and the vision of serving God, the church and underserved populations of the world.
